VMQ O-Ring Product Description

They are circular in shape, round in cross-section, and designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications. These O-rings commonly provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly seen in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders.

Silicone Rubber O-Ring

Silicone rubber O-rings are noted for their ability to be used over a wide temperature range and for excellent resistance to ozone, weathering, and aging. Standard silicones are resistant to water (up to 100°C), aliphatic engine and transmission oils, and animal and plant oils and fats. However, they are generally not resistant to fuels, aromatic mineral oils, steam (short-term up to 120°C is possible), silicone oils and greases, acids, or alkalis.
